South Maui Bicycles rents road bikes starting at:

33.00 a day, 130.00 a week for an aluminum frame.

50.00 a day, 200.00 a week for carbon/aluminum frame.

Full carbon 60.00 a day, 250.00 a week.

Reservations will be for 1 week or longer. Go to there web site for more information. They will not have aero bars available to mount on the rental bikes. We would encourage anyone on the fence about bringing their own bike to do so as people historically have a better race on their own bike. SMB does assembly of bikes that have been shipped to Maui and they'll pack them up to go home. The cost is 50.00 to 60.00 for either direction. We can receive a bike that is shipped to our shop via UPS/FED-EX with prior notice and arrangements made. SMB will have all the cO2 for flat tire inflation because you cannot bring it on the plane. SMB has been outfitting riders for triathlons for over 20 yrs so they will have all the equipment you will need. If someone is unsure they should just call SMB at 808-874-0068 10-6 Mon-Sat closed Sun.SMB will be at the expo on Sat the 12th from 9am till after noon or so.
